Arrow Topical Enzymes - A Powerful New Foe to Rosacea Redness, Telangiectasia & Swelling

Various bio-active enzymes show great promise in the treatment of rosacea redness, broken blood vessels and localized swelling (tip of nose and upper cheek areas).

Vascular Health Specialists is currently investigating four potent topical bio-active enzymes and topical sulforaphane for rosacea redness and broken blood vessels. These novel substances target rosacea-defective blood vessels that are pathological and are right near the surface of the skin (right under the epidermis in the ridges.... where no blood vessels should be).

They target angiogenic blood vessels that are thin walled, incompletely formed and have defective chemical markers (the chemical markers set them apart from normal, healthy blood vessels and are similar to the chemical markers used to target angiogenic vessels that feed tumors). These enzymes have been successfully used in the undereye creams for broken veins and arterioles and have recently shown success on facial skin in our lab, removing up to 45% of rosacea blood vessels by cleaving them into sngle peptide fragments and signalling the lymphatic vessels to engulf these particles and remove them from the skin...... Permanently

In addition to these great attributes, the skin that is cleared is stimulated by a combination of two collagen producing proteins that will replace the rosacea affected areas with thicker, clear skin, and inhibit further growth of rosacea-defective blood vessels.

As we are working on this product right now we can only release a small amount of information. Haloxyl and Sulforaphae are two of the enzymes, but they need a third and fourth enzyme pair, a complimentary peptide to guide them towards the rosacea blood vessels, and also two collagen producing proteins to complete the clearance.

Haloxyl (Sometimes spelled as Hyloxyl)

Haloxyl is an anti-aging ingredient often formulated in the most successful anti-aging skin care products on the market today. It has been identified as the primary ingredient in products that make claims to reduce dark-circles under the eye region. Sederma is the company that manufactures this product and they don’t post much information about the compound. Sederma is a major player in the cosmetics industry. As this is a relatively new ingredient to most people out there, it is worth noting that insiders believe Haloxyl could be found in various anti-aging products as well as wrinkle creams and skin care lotions.

Sederma has stated that Haloxyl is a synthetic ingredient formulated to reduce dark circles under the eyes. There are clinical studies published about this on websites containing haloxyl, such as Elite Serum. These tests show that the compound does well for the skin discoloration. The study referenced, in case you don’t take the time to read it, states that between 19% and 45% improvement was confirmed. Other studies outlined how Haloxyl enhanced and stimulated the natural elements in the skin and assisted in reducing the darkness and restoring the skin components that work to heal the skin and make it look refreshed. Simply put, if you have a problem with dark circles under your eyes, you need to treat that with a daily use eye serum that contains Haloxyl.

I think I use something like this under my eyes for broken veins and arteries? It does work quite effectively.

Charla,

You probably have used at least one of the more common enzymes used to break down dead blood vessels.... a very good one found in Hydrolyze.

But, we need to enhance the concentration and penetration due to the skin type and blood vessel depths. Hopefully adding two additional enzymes and a peptide (that acts like a marker to the dead or functionally inactive blood vessels) will help considerably as demonstrated in the lab.

Thanks Barb.

Piggy back these enzymes on amino acids (methionine) and you deliver these enzymes deep into the tissue and right to the vascular wall receptors.
