Biotech that Specializes in Anti-inflammatory Peptides joins Rosacea Race:
Welcome aboard folks. Preliminary findings on the scientific bench have lead to studies on human subjects suffering from rosacea swelling (under eyes, tip of nose, upper cheeks and mid forhead) and rosacea inflammation (the acute redness reaction that accompanies rosacea flushing - if we stop this secondary response the flush might only last seconds or be half as intense ). After their preliminary studies on rosacea sufferers and a solid patent is in place they will announce their progress and I hope to be a part of the publication and indirect research. They are taking a well known anti-swelling peptiide used for under the eye bags, Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone, a unique bioflavanoid that attaches to blood vessels, capillaries and lymphatic vessels with an aggressive affinity, and altering its peptide formulation to make it much more effective and able to penetrate deep into the skin. They are doing this through a harmless double pass purification and solubilization process. Essentially, they are micronizing it into such small particles that it should pass through the skin effortlessly and they are solubilizing it into a liquid and a gel to compare which one is more effective. Please note that you might see a lot of expensive under eye products using regular Hesperidin, Hesperidin Chlacone or Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone, but less than 5% of this active ingredient is absorbed through the skin due to its size and charge. To say the least, it is a stubborn bugger with a lot of potential. Thus, we need a biotech company that specializes in altering, purifying and potentiating the effects of a peptide such as this for rosacea. Right now they are looking at a 3% to 5% gel formuation... and a 5% to 10% water-soulble formulation. That is all the iinformation I could pry loose from the company for now. View General Animation of Peptide Cleavage and Purification Cheers _

View General Animation of Peptide Cleavage and Purification Hylexin and Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone Hylexin - for Dark Under Eye Circles If you have major dark circles that make your eyes look old and tired, you may be interested in a new product called called Hylexin. It's the first product specifically developed to dramatically reduce the appearance of serious dark circles and puffiness around the eyes. How Does it Work? Hylexin contains the active ingredient citrus bioflavonoid hesperidin methyl chalcone. In scientific studies, this has been shown to help reduce hemoglobin degradation byproducts by optimizing enzymatic activity, which helps fade the red-blue pigmentation. Studies also confirm that Hylexin helps strengthen the capillary matrix to help stop the "leaking," so your orbital eye area is protected against further damage. Citrus bioflavonoid hesperidin methyl chalcone has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which also make it good as a light moisturizer for the under eye area. In a double-blind clinical trial, more than 72% of women who had serious dark circles and used Hylexin saw an obvious, tangible, visible reduction in the color and severity of their dark circles. These results were confirmed with high-speed laboratory photography that showed a significant reduction in the appearance of the blue and red color. Michael W. |
