3-D imaging laser studies are officially underway. They plan to start the pre-treatment measurements of blood vessel number, depth, size and orientation within the next few weeks. This should not only enhance rosacea laser treatment but it should give us the first true landmarks for rosacea inflammation depth and point out any obvious pathological findings. Good Hunting. Whatever information they are allowed to release I will immediately post it to this board and our new blogs. _

Several California-based rosacea sufferers have taken part in the 3-D imaging and the real time treatment evaluation. They should post quite soon on their results as they have been very good to excellent. The main advantage is that they can treat with one pass and then take 3-D snapshots of blood vessels at any depth and see if the blood vessel is "effectively treated" or needs a second pass. They can also see how deep their treatments are. Good stuff.
