Arrow Manuka Honey Biochemical Isolates for Rosacea Treatment

We continue to receive positive reports on the use of diluted Manuka Honey on rosacea inflammation.

Manuka honey is a rare honey derived from the tea tree bush in New Zealand. Researchers from the University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand have determined that manuka honey has powerful anti-inflammatory properties that are unique to this one form of honey.

But, rosacea sufferers are only getting a small fraction of the anti-inflammatory action by diluting Manuka honey before applying to their faces.

Researchers have now identified the unique biochemical anti-inflammatory protein in Manuka Honey that makes it such a potent anti-inflammatory with superior healing powers -- it contains a highly active non-peroxide molecule referred to as UMF or Unique Manuka Factor.

They can now isolate this protein, stabilize it, increase its concentration, and soon should be able to put it into a facial serum to treat inflammatory skin disorders.

Oddly enough, the honey bee and Manuka Honey may play an important role in nature and in rosacea treatment. Biochemical Isolates from the Honey Bee Stinger have potent anti-inflammatory actions and when added to the Unique Manuka Factor, make the topical much more effective.

Very interesting research. Something to keep an eye on.

We are taking up a collection for one person to smear Manuka Honey on their face and then run into a bee hive. If you survive this, we will evaluate its anti-inflammatory effect once you wake up from your coma If this works, we will increase the pay and apply rattlesnake venom to your face as this is also an extremely potent anti-inflammatory and vasoconstrictor when applied topically to the skin.... you just can't let it get into your blood stream.

We would like permission to video tape these treatment sessions so that we can submit them to the "Funniest Home Video TV Series".

Excellent. I've been a big fan of Manuka Honey for years. I hope this means they can eventually make a MH cream that does not make your face stick to everything.

Thumbs up

Luckily we now have three volunteers for this study. All three are ethically and morally challenged but the judge may suspend sentences if they agree to put on the Honey and place their entire head inside a bees nest. Seems like a pretty good deal for 2010's shining stars: Lindsay Lohan, Melissa Wohl and Philka.
