Arrow Diabetes and Rosacea - Vascular Damage much more progressive

I receive a lot of emails regarding the effect of Diabetes on rosacea symptoms, triggers and progression.

Anyone with Pre-Diabetes , Diabetes, Insulin Resistance or Metabolic Syndrome (hundreds of millions of people in the US have this silent disease and don't even know it), then you are much more likely to have progressive rosacea and more prone to blood vessel damage, dysfunction, facial redness and flushing.

Basically all four disorders result in an impaired ability of glucose to enter the cells to be used as energy. If they are not taken up by tissue cells and travel in the blood stream then they will be oxidized by free radicals and turn into dangerous chemicals called Advanced Glycation Endproducts (AGE's). This is a hot topic in vascular health right now because these AGE's bind to vascular walls and physically damage the entire wall of blood vessels. If you have rosacea and AGE's then the damage and dysfunction to blood vessel walls is much greater... and thus rosacea symptom and trigger progression are much more likely.

Besides lowering your glucose intake, sweets, and white foods (bread, potatoes, pasta, starches, carbs), you can greatly decrease and completely inhibit the formation of AGE's by the use of two clinically-proven supplements:

1. Sulforaphane -- clinical doses of sulforaphane like the nutraceutical included in Rosadyn is the most potent inhibitor of AGE's and that is one reason why we included this very expensive nutraceutical into our proprietary Vascular Protective Blend of Rosadyn. At the clinical doses included in Rosadyn, this medicinal-extract can block over 95% of AGE's.

2. Benfotiamine -- clinical doses of benfotiamine have been shown to block AGE's by up to 45% which is quite helpful in protecting the body from vascular damage and subsequent rosacea progression. You can find Benfotiamine on sale at Internet stores like Vitacost.com.

Most people over 35 years of age have some degree of the four disorders listed above, and they usually go hand-in-hand with each other, so this is a wise investment in your vascular health, cardiovascular health... and of course, your rosacea. Put down the Reservatrol anti-aging "miracle" pill and pick up AGE blockers such as Sulforaphane (Rosadyn) and/or Benfotiamine
